EAP Counselor Position

Valeo Resources is seeking a part-time EAP Counselor to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will work with Department of Justice employees to provide counseling services and facilitate workshops and presentations.

This role requires a mix of counseling and workshop facilitation, with a focus on collaborating with management to resolve employee conflicts and trauma debriefings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide short-term, solution-focused therapy to employees
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations on mental health topics
  • Collaborate with management to resolve employee conflicts and trauma debriefings

Requirements:

  • Mental health license in Washington DC (LCSW / LPC / LMFT / etc.)
  • Experience with short-term therapy and workshop facilitation
  • Desire to work with law enforcement population

Work Schedule:

Approximately 20 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8-5p, with flexibility for early morning or evening appointments.
