Job Title: Bilingual Counselor/Counselor

Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School (CRIPCS) is seeking a highly qualified Bilingual Counselor/Counselor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect clinical services to adult students, including individual and group counseling, workshops, and case management.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic counseling to individual students and small groups
  • Develop and facilitate workshops to address mental health topics
  • Coordinate clinical case management services
  • Assist students in identifying and addressing factors that may impede their academic, vocational, and personal achievement
  • Provide support to teachers and staff as needed
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or equivalent experience
  • License in the District of Columbia or working towards a license
  • Minimum of two years experience in mental health counseling, school counseling, or school social work
  • Experience working with linguistically and culturally diverse adult students
  • Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in a foreign language (Spanish or Amharic preferred)

  • Competitive salary range: $49,928.00 to $103,324.00
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
  • Full-time position
