Job Summary
SpecialtyRx is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team in the surrounding areas of Westchester County and Bronx, NY. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing and overseeing the relationship with our long-term care facilities and assisted living communities in the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform routine visits to assigned facilities to ensure seamless delivery of pharmacy services.
- Respond in a professional and timely manner to inquiries from client facilities, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Administrators and Director of Nursing of client facilities to facilitate position responsibilities.
- Audit medication and treatment carts for survey preparation, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and company laws.
- Audit antibiotics, PO, IV, and back-up boxes to ensure proper par levels are maintained and medications are not expired.
- Audit emergency boxes to ensure proper seal(s) are placed and medications are not expired.
Requirements
- LPN New York License preferred.
- Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare procedures.
- Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities, and concentrate on detailed information.
- Driven and motivated problem-solver.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
