Job Title: Direct Support Professional 2

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional 2, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and clean-up.
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments and activities.
  • Engage in activities that promote socialization and community integration.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the individual's health or well-being.
Requirements:
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire)
  • Must have First Aid / CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a California Driver's License
  • Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
