Key Responsibilities- Proactively greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff, providing a positive and courteous experience.
- Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and compassionate manner, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
- Utilize computerized information systems to access patient and employee information, ensuring accurate and efficient navigation.
- Supervise and coach volunteers and colleagues in customer service, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with Entrance Ambassadors and Police & Security to ensure seamless arrivals and departures.
- Monitor the environment for lost patients and visitors, maintaining a welcoming and safe environment.
- Perform administrative tasks, including receiving envelopes and packages, maintaining logs, and assisting with special projects.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer service-focused role.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in EPIC and PALS systems.
- Conversational language skills in a second language preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting desirable.
This is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of service requests. The successful candidate must be able to stand for long periods, push patients in wheelchairs, and work in a team-oriented setting.
