Overview

Corgan is a design-driven firm passionate about creating great spaces that inspire and uplift. We are seeking a highly motivated Interior Designer to join our collaborative and innovative team in our Education Studio in Dallas.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in all phases of the design process, from conceptualization to project delivery, on a variety of projects in size and scope.
  • Generate creative design solutions that balance functionality and aesthetics.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and project teams through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Utilize Revit and other design software to create high-quality graphics and presentation materials.
  • Support the integration of design with other project workflows and tasks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement design concepts.
  • Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents.
  • Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain awareness of new methodologies, practices, codes, and products to stay up-to-date in the field.
  • Contribute to the selection of materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment that meet client needs and budget.
  • Actively contribute to the production of construction documents and assist with contract administration responsibilities.
  • Conduct field verification and site visits as needed to ensure project quality and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Degree from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial design, with education experience strongly preferred.
  • Holds state registration for interior design or is in the process of obtaining it.
  • Displays a strong design portfolio showcasing strengths in conceptual design, space planning, and detailing.
  • Proficient in Revit and other design software.
  • Interest in sustainable design and commitment to social responsibility.
  • Professional registration or anticipation of registration.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment.
  • Confident presentation ability.
