Position Overview:
This role is essential in supporting the Loan Services Department's operations and ensuring exceptional service to our members. The Loan Services Associate will engage in various tasks that contribute to the department's efficiency and effectiveness.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Alternate Saturdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (40 Hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inquiries related to loan processes from members and staff.
- Assist in achieving departmental performance metrics and service standards.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance departmental support.
- Manage communications through various channels to assist members and internal teams.
- Process a variety of loan-related requests and documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of loan servicing software and systems.
- Contribute to team goals by actively participating in training and development opportunities.
- Uphold professionalism and respect in all interactions with members and colleagues.
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Dependability and a member-focused approach.
- Technical proficiency with loan servicing tools and software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to ethical conduct.
Qualifications:
- Six months to one year of relevant experience, preferably in financial services.
- Prior experience in customer service roles.
- Basic computer skills are required.
Work Environment:
This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
The role is primarily sedentary, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
