Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care on our night shift in Syracuse, NY.


About the Role:

  • As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for scheduling and assigning nursing staff to ensure seamless resident care.
  • You will establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and their families, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Provide information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing and enforcing facility policies and procedures.
  • Ensure resident confidentiality by handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care services, including medical records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management, with a strong ability to motivate and direct staff.
  • Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and e-prescribing programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
