Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Coordinate Nursing Staff: Lead and manage a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish and maintain policies and procedures that promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Mentor and Educate Nursing Staff: Provide guidance and support to less experienced nurses, promoting professional growth and development.
- Monitor and Evaluate Patient Care: Conduct regular assessments of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Communicate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:
- Current RN License: Must hold a valid New York State RN license.
- Long Term Care Experience: 2 years of experience in long term care preferred.
- Charge Nurse Experience: 1 year of experience as a charge nurse preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in computer software and systems, including electronic medical records.
