Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality patient care and support services to residents in accordance with their individual needs and care plans. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and services provided.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Unencumbered, active CNA certification in the state of employment.
  • Possess a sincere desire to work with elderly individuals and those with limited capacity for self-care.
  • Mental and physical capacity to perform the essential job functions with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
