- Scheduling and Time Management: Manage the scheduling of nursing staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and counseling, and make recommendations for corrective action when necessary.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for new hires.
- Departmental Orientation: Collaborate with the Clinical Administrator to develop and implement a comprehensive orientation program for new clinical support staff.
- Infection Control and Compliance: Ensure that nursing support staff is compliant with infection control protocols and policies.
- Patient Care and Triage: Assess patient needs, triage patients according to established policies and procedures, and refer patients to appropriate medical facilities or providers as needed.
- Chart Review and Follow-up: Review patient charts, ensure necessary reports are available, and follow up on lab results in accordance with departmental protocol.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the care team to address patient concerns, provide education and support, and ensure seamless communication.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement: Participate in quality assurance activities, including chart auditing, committee assignments, and completion of quality improvement reports.
- Medication Management and Inventory: Manage medication inventory, reconcile medications, and order stock supplies and office supplies as needed.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as required to support the success of the organization.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from a State-approved School of Nursing (RN) with a permit or license to practice, and 1-3 years of clinical or physician's office experience.
- Certifications and Training: Current BLS certification and Infection Control Certification.
Innova Solutions offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- Pay Range: $51,417 - $82,992 per year.
