Job Summary

In partnership with the HR Leader, this HR Generalist will be responsible for performing a variety of HR functions, including benefit administration, performance and compensation management, recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, training, HRIS support, and employee communications and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keeps apprised of organizational climate, identifies actual or anticipated problems, communicates with leaders involved, and offers consultative assistance.
  • Drives the talent recruiting process, assists managers in conducting needs analysis for open positions, sources candidates using various methods, and recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency.
  • Serves as a champion in developing a culture focused on mission, leadership, accountability, execution, innovation, results, diversity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.
  • Communicates and interprets HR policies and procedures, educates employees about their benefits, coordinates open enrollment activities, and ensures timely submittal and processing of employee data via HRIS systems.
  • Maintains a close and collaborative relationship with other departments, including payroll, finance, and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in Human Resources.
  • Ability to make recommendations to resolve problems or issues using judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
  • Experience with social media recruiting, MS Office skills, and HRIS experience required.
