Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling
  • Ensure proper stock of food and beverage products
  • Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated product, ensuring the rotating of products (FIFO)
  • Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of delivered products and merchandise
  • Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas
  • Oversee the proper closing of the assigned area
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of food and beverage commissary or related experience required
  • Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems required
  • Ability to delegate and coach others
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic math and counting skills required - Ability to read and interpret deliveries and purchases

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 165 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season
