Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiography Team Lead to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our radiography team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision of radiography technologists and other department staff.
  • Coordinate and manage the daily schedule of radiography exams and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department efficiency.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff members and students.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient data and department statistics.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiographer.
  • Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
  • Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
