Optoelectronic Systems Technician

We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated individual who will contribute to our ongoing success and uphold our esteemed reputation in the industry through exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their own work schedule, maintaining comprehensive records, demonstrating self-motivation, presenting a professional demeanor, and exhibiting a strong commitment to project ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with optoelectronic systems, implementing standard rework procedures as necessary.
- Adhere to established protocols for rework and repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of data and observations throughout the troubleshooting process.
- Investigate root causes of issues thoroughly, documenting findings and resolutions comprehensively.
- Identify and rectify common problems associated with testing stations and equipment.
- Process customer returns efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Assist in other testing initiatives by conducting measurements and analyzing collected data.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- A minimum of three years of applicable experience in a related field.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production-related issues.
- Capacity to quickly adapt to new procedures and methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice Calc.
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
