Avo Photonics Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Technician at Avo Photonics. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and manufacturing custom opto-electronic products for a diverse range of markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot complex optoelectronic systems and perform or prescribe standard rework procedures to ensure high-quality products.
  • Follow established procedures for rework and repair, maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the process.
  • Consistently record data and observations, striving to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and fix common problems with test stations and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Receive and process customer returns, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Support other test efforts by performing measurements, collecting and analyzing data, and providing expert technical guidance.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, such as engineering or physics.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production problems, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software, with basic familiarity with Linux operating systems.
