Position: Land Surveyor

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000

Role Summary
Kuo & Associates (KUO) is in search of a dedicated and detail-focused Land Surveyor to enhance our land surveying and property research initiatives. This position is essential for interpreting legal documents, plats, and other real estate data to extract pertinent information. You will be responsible for gathering necessary documentation from diverse sources and creating boundary sketches utilizing AutoCAD software. Additionally, you will work closely with a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to perform boundary investigations and contribute to the development of boundary maps and metes and bounds descriptions for various properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting legal documents, plats, and other real estate data
  • Gathering necessary documents from various sources
  • Creating boundary sketches from legal documents using AutoCAD
  • Assisting the RPLS with boundary investigations and analysis
  • Preparing boundary maps and metes and bounds descriptions under the supervision of a Registered Surveyor

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or a four-year college degree
  • Basic knowledge and experience with AutoCAD
  • SIT Certification is preferred but not mandatory
