Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team enthusiastically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Determine hiring needs, recruit, interview, and hire the best candidates for the position.
  • Complete new hire paperwork and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Objectively evaluate staff to determine coaching needs and assign measurable, attainable goals for Assistant Managers and Supervisors.
  • Lead the entire team enthusiastically and maintain a safe, secure employee file while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Promote an open-door policy and conduct weekly management meetings.
  • Track and report on restaurant financial status.

Requirements

  • Degree in Hospitality preferred.
  • 3-5 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated and able to communicate effectively.
  • Mobility required during the entire shift, including bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
