Job Summary

The Department of Transportation is seeking a skilled Governmental Program Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for producing monthly and daily reports, analyzing data, and synthesizing information to provide insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality reports, including the Month Ahead Report, Week Ahead Report, and media log, to keep senior management informed of key events and progress.
  • Analyze data from various sources, including PIOs, Project Managers, and Construction Managers, to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of events, including Ribbon Cuttings and Groundbreakings, to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Assist the District Public Information Officers in event planning and support, researching and analyzing potential material for dissemination via various channels.
  • Monitor social media content for misleading or incorrect information and respond promptly to minimize impacts.

Requirements

  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state-owned or leased vehicle.
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract principles.
  • Familiarity with State purchasing regulations.
  • Ability to hold and maintain a Cal-Card.
