About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our production operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in ERB/CCB, LOB, and production increment planning to ensure seamless collaboration between the factory and program teams.
  • Provide effectivities for variances, IRs, and CNs to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Facilitate communication between the factory and program teams, including informing program of major factory issues and factory of major program changes.
  • Keep Manufacturing Engineers informed of approved variances, CNs, and other changes that affect hardware.
  • Communicate across different factory levels to ensure effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Create and manage Material Master and MBOM requests to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials.
  • Address large-scale quality issues that impact the factory and ensure that the manufacturing process is optimized for quality and efficiency.
  • Understand hardware configurations planned for contracts and ensure the factory is prepared to meet production requirements.
  • Assist with future contract proposals by providing BOMs for applicable hardware configurations and other tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with manufacturing, SAP/PRISM, lean manufacturing, technical writing, and project execution.
  • Strong engineering aptitude and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with interpretation of technical documentation and current DOD Security clearance.
