Manufacturing Engineer II

At Sargent Aerospace and Defense, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing instructions and documentation.
- Design and develop tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate the acquisition and implementation of capital equipment and expenditures.
- Implement process documentation and provide training for production personnel.
- Participate in the engineering change process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in CAD design and solid modeling software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a regulated industry, such as aerospace or defense.
- Lean/six sigma (green) belt certification.
