We are seeking a visionary and passionate Vice President of People to join our dynamic leadership team. Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition- Develop and implement an effective recruitment strategy to attract top talent in the metals industry
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and align talent acquisition efforts with the company's growth objectives
- Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, universities, and industry networks
- Optimize the candidate experience to ensure a seamless and positive recruitment journey
- Implement and utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts
- Oversee all aspects of human resources, including HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's mission and vision
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and belonging among employees
- Lead employee engagement and retention efforts to enhance the overall employee experience
- Manage HR administration, including payroll, benefits, and HRIS management
- Ensure compliance with HR regulations and legal requirements
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Advanced HR certifications are a plus
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in recruiting and human resources, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience in manufacturing, industrials, mining or related industries
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employer branding, and candidate sourcing strategies
- Familiarity with sustainable mining practices and related industries is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse candidates and teams
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with the company's mission and vision
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to drive successful recruiting and HR efforts
- Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements
