We are seeking a visionary and passionate Vice President of People to join our dynamic leadership team. Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition
  • Develop and implement an effective recruitment strategy to attract top talent in the metals industry
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and align talent acquisition efforts with the company's growth objectives
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, universities, and industry networks
  • Optimize the candidate experience to ensure a seamless and positive recruitment journey
  • Implement and utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts
Human Resources
  • Oversee all aspects of human resources, including HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's mission and vision
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and belonging among employees
  • Lead employee engagement and retention efforts to enhance the overall employee experience
  • Manage HR administration, including payroll, benefits, and HRIS management
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations and legal requirements
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Advanced HR certifications are a plus
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in recruiting and human resources, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrials, mining or related industries
  • Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employer branding, and candidate sourcing strategies
  • Familiarity with sustainable mining practices and related industries is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse candidates and teams
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with the company's mission and vision
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to drive successful recruiting and HR efforts
  • Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements
