Job Title: National Sales Manager

At Sulzer USA Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our municipal sales team in the United States and Canada. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share
  • Lead and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Sales Ops team members to achieve sales objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Engineering, and R&D, to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the municipal market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activity, and market intelligence to inform sales strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the municipal wastewater equipment industry
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
