Parking Operations Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

Oak View Group is seeking a highly skilled Parking Operations Supervisor to oversee the event day supervision and management of our parking and transportation operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our parking facilities, working closely with the Parking Manager to implement procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parking lots and garages to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with the Parking Manager to develop and implement event day procedures, ensuring seamless traffic flow and guest experience.
  • Assist with the management of parking systems, including monitoring and operating equipment.
  • Enforce employee parking policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and minimizing disruptions.
  • Conduct thorough event day checklists to ensure all procedures are followed and completed.
  • Collaborate with the Parking Manager to gather information and respond to guest inquiries and complaints.
  • Assist with the evaluation and adjustment of pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage programs.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in parking operations or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of parking best practices and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to give clear and concise direction.
  • Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred.
  • Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
