Role Overview:

As a Micro Focus PPM System Administrator and Developer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the administration, configuration, and development of the Micro Focus Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of our PPM environment to align with our project management and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Micro Focus PPM system, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and robust security.
  • Configure and tailor the PPM system to fulfill organizational requirements, including the development of workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Design and implement integrations with other enterprise systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective PPM solutions.
  • Conduct regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain the PPM system's currency and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PPM system, providing technical support to users as necessary.
  • Create and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to enhance the effective utilization of the PPM system.
  • Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve performance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator and Developer for Micro Focus PPM or similar project management software.
  • Strong understanding of project and portfolio management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing PPM systems, including workflow design, report generation, and dashboard creation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with integrating PPM systems with other enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
