Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

Seco Tools is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Western Michigan. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for representing Seco Tools and its comprehensive metal cutting solutions to a diverse clientele across various sectors, including automotive, mold & die, agriculture, medical, and defense contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 60% - End User Account Management & New Business Development- Develop new end user customers and manage and mine existing customer accounts to assure customer retention and development of new business opportunities for increased product sales.
  • 25% - Distributor Channel Partner Account Management & New Business Development- Optimize sales with distribution channel partners through joint calls, end user leads, and technical product support.
  • 15% - Administration - Territory planning, sales administrative activities and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of proven successful territory or regional sales experience in a technical, consultative, solution-oriented sales role.
  • Strong background in territory sales skills with experience and strong technical aptitude in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel (75-85%) within the region to manage the territory requirements and engage, qualify, develop, support, and secure new business for Seco Tools' cutting tool solutions.
