We are in search of a meticulous and committed Marine Project Engineer to contribute to our projects.
In this position, you will be instrumental in the planning, design, and execution of marine engineering initiatives. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers to guarantee that projects are finalized punctually, within financial constraints, and adhere to the highest technical and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities of the Marine Project Engineer
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of marine engineering projects, which may include coastal structures, marine infrastructure, and offshore facilities.
- Prepare and evaluate engineering calculations, technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with various engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met and integrated seamlessly.
- Oversee project advancement, including adherence to schedules and budgets, and report project status to senior management.
- Conduct site evaluations and inspections to assess project conditions, identify risks, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Support the preparation of project proposals, detailing scope of work, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Assist in resolving technical challenges that may arise during project execution.
Qualifications for the Marine Project Engineer Position
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Naval Architecture and Design.
- Familiarity with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro) and analytical tools is advantageous.
