Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide brief, evidence-based interventions to support patients in addressing behaviors that impact their health.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide mental health and behavioral interventions to support patients in addressing behaviors that impact their health.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans to address mental health and behavioral issues.
  3. Collaborate with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  4. Document all clinical activity in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  5. Participate in program evaluation and performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
  1. Possession of a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  2. Possession of a valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California State Board of Medical Examiners.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an integrated care system.
  • Experience in case management, including assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and coordinating services.
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
