Join Our Team as a Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist

Are you passionate about improving the lives of children with unique needs? Patterns Behavioral Services is seeking a part-time, per-diem Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist Consultant to support our clinics in Orange County.

As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our young patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting screenings and evaluations to assess patient conditions.
  • Developing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing speech and communication skills.
  • Working closely with patients to identify their specific needs and implement effective strategies for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and their underlying causes.
- Maintain comprehensive records of patient conditions, treatment plans, and progress.
- Communicate updates and progress to relevant parties, including family members and educators.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care.
- Provide rehabilitation support to help patients achieve their speech and language goals.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Speech Pathologist or in a similar capacity.
- Familiarity with specific conditions or age groups may be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of speech-related disorders, their causes, and treatment methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using healthcare databases and patient management systems.
- Compassionate and attentive, with the ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Relevant certifications and training as a Speech Pathologist.
