Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time, per-diem Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist Consultant to support our clinics.

As a Speech Pathologist, your primary role will be to deliver exceptional care to our young patients. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting evaluations, identifying patient needs, and crafting tailored treatment strategies aimed at fostering essential speech abilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, including potential causes and impacts.
  • Maintain comprehensive records regarding patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
  • Communicate updates and current status to relevant parties, including family members and educational professionals.
  • Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers as needed.
  • Provide rehabilitative support to assist patients in achieving their objectives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Speech Pathologist or in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with specific conditions or age groups may be advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of speech-related disorders, their causes, and treatment methodologies.
  • Exceptional coaching, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in using computers, particularly healthcare and patient management systems.
  • Compassionate and attentive, with the capability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications as a Speech Pathologist.
