The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on relevant experience and qualifications. This compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits plan, which includes health, dental, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings options.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist Fellow to join our team of professionals providing early intervention services to young children with special needs. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with families, healthcare providers, and other community agencies to develop and implement individualized plans that promote the child's cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities:

  • To perform screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify the child's strengths and challenges, and to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses their unique needs.
  • To provide evidence-based interventions, including coaching caregivers with strategies for implementation into daily routines, every day activities, and natural environments.
  • To maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations, progress reports, and communication with families and other professionals.
  • To participate in regular supervision with a licensed speech-language pathologist to review cases, clinical decisions, and receive guidance on complex cases.
  • To complete all Family Service and Early Intervention paperwork, including forms and written documentation, in accordance with established licensure requirements and The RI EI Certification Standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree from a Board-approved school of Speech-Language Pathology, and meet requirements for licensing by the RI Department of Health.
  • Current RI driver's license.
  • Current auto insurance.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
