ROLE SUMMARY
The Store Manager plays a crucial role in steering teams towards achieving sales targets, fostering brand loyalty, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position entails full accountability for the store's financial performance and overall leadership, focusing on building a self-sufficient, high-achieving team committed to reaching objectives and aligning with company strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in all store roles
- Minimum of 3 years in a specialty retail management position with relevant traffic and volume experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software
- Broad knowledge of the retail landscape
- Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Commitment to one store closing per week, either Friday or Saturday
- Competence in using retail POS systems and inventory scanners
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Capability to interpret moderately complex financial reports
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex situations, including handling challenging clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships
- Ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely through various forms of communication

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Physical ability to lift and move large and heavy packages consistently throughout the shift
- Capability to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry products for customer service, inventory restocking, and store merchandising
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly perform store maintenance tasks: sweeping, vacuuming, trash disposal, and cleaning
- Ability to use and climb ladders or step stools
- Perform repetitive motions (e.g., hanging, folding, assisting customers)
- Exercise caution when interacting with difficult customers and avoid confrontations
- Moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment
- Must be at least 18 years old

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Solely responsible for recruiting and maintaining a diverse, high-performing store team through consistent selection, development, and motivation while collaborating with team members at all levels
- Act as a business owner, providing timely ideas and solutions to enhance the customer experience
- Drive financial results by establishing strategic plans in partnership with the Territory Manager
- Ensure accountability for daily operational procedures, financial targets, and adherence to company policies
- Create and manage schedules to optimize staffing and drive store profitability
- Provide coaching and mentoring to meet store and company goals
- Monitor team progress against key business initiatives and offer development opportunities
- Lead by example and train staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any issues with employees
- Ensure compliance with safety measures and regulations
- Facilitate training programs and processes for team members
- Assist with store security and monitor fitting rooms
- Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback
- Ensure professional treatment of all store staff
- Plan and execute floor sets efficiently while encouraging collaboration
- Comply with all loss prevention policies
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of inventory management procedures
- Cultivate open communication and teamwork
- Represent the company positively and professionally
- Inspire and motivate the team by sharing knowledge and best practices
