DECO, a branch of IDS International, is seeking Overseas Security Operations Specialists (OSOS) to deliver physical security for various international construction initiatives, ensuring safety around the clock. OSOS personnel will oversee perimeter security systems and manage access control protocols, which include verifying the identity of individuals seeking entry to secure sites.

This role involves a one-year commitment and is based outside of the continental United States (OCONUS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all individuals, packages, and vehicles entering the construction site to identify any questionable or prohibited items.
  • Prevent the introduction of unauthorized materials, including explosives, weapons, and electronic devices, as specified by the relevant authorities.
  • Perform random inspections across all site areas to ensure compliance with security protocols and report any suspicious activities to the Site Security Manager or Team Leader.
  • Monitor the perimeter and secure areas using government-provided surveillance systems and intrusion detection technologies.
  • Patrol the construction site during off-hours, following directives from the Site Security Manager to maintain the integrity of Controlled Access Areas.
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess an active Top Secret Clearance.
  • Successfully completed a Department of Defense Security Course (CAG course).
  • At least three years of military experience in roles such as Military Police Officer or Marine Security Guard, including three years as a security watch stander with experience in alarm systems and surveillance technologies (Honorable discharge required if applicable).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Meet specific medical and physical fitness standards and be prepared for deployment to remote locations for extended periods.
  • Hold a valid passport.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
