About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity to join our team at Texas Health Mansfield, a state-of-the-art hospital that's part of a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you'll be responsible for operating CT scanners, developing and implementing procedures for effective utilization, and participating in outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment by daily quality assurance and set up and adjust equipment per protocol, radiologist, and/or procedure performance.
  • Accept patients and assess their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements. Explain and prepare the patient for the exam requested.
  • Assist in the administration and administer various chemical substances in order to render specific organs or systems opaquer.
  • Review patient charts and requests with the radiologist to ensure the proper examination and diagnostic results are obtained.
  • Quality control all images, maintain inventory, and adhere to safety regulations. Participate in training of department personnel, including students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Grad or Equivalency and 1 year's experience
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • ARRT Computed Tomography Technician
  • Texas MRT License
