About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and performing imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and perform imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assess patient conditions and prepare them for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Administer contrast agents and other substances as needed to enhance image quality.
  • Review patient charts and requests with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality control measures to ensure image quality and patient safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in computed tomography or a related field preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification required; ARRT Computed Tomography Technician certification and Texas MRT License preferred.
