Job Title: Director of Disaster Recovery and Resilience

Job Summary:

The Director of Disaster Recovery and Resilience will lead the Disaster Recovery and Resilience Division, overseeing programs and services to support communities affected by disasters. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement effective disaster recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and strategies
  • Lead a team of professionals in the Disaster Recovery and Resilience Division
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including state and local government, community-based organizations, and private sector partners
  • Provide executive leadership and direction to the division
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources

Requirements:

  • Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience
  • Four years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
