The Machine Learning Researcher will engage in innovative research and develop advanced models and algorithms aimed at enhancing our developer productivity solutions. The successful candidate will possess a robust foundation in machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval techniques, along with substantial experience in software development and programming languages.
Primary Duties:
- Conduct cutting-edge research and devise models and algorithms to elevate our developer-focused products and services.
- Examine extensive codebases and create tools to derive valuable insights from them.
- Design and sustain machine learning models for tasks such as code classification and suggestion.
- Collaborate with fellow researchers, engineers, and product leaders to pinpoint research inquiries and prioritize initiatives.
- Guide and mentor junior researchers and research associates.
- Remain informed about the latest advancements in machine learning, natural language processing, and software engineering research.
- PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline, specializing in machine learning or natural language processing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning and natural language processing, with a proven record of relevant publications.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong coding abilities in at least one programming language, such as Python or Java.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
