We are seeking a talented physician scientist or scientist to join our team at the Division of Endocrinology, Gerontology and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University.
About the PositionThis is a faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the University Tenure Line (UTL) or University Medical Line (UML). The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to research and teaching, and will be expected to contribute to the Division's research, education, and clinical care programs.
Responsibilities- Conduct basic, translational or clinical research in endocrinology, diabetes or metabolism
- Teach and mentor students and research trainees
- Collaborate with other investigators and clinicians to advance the field of endocrinology
- Obtain grant funding and publish research findings
The successful candidate will hold an MD (or equivalent), MD/PhD, or PhD degree, and will have a strong record of scholarly achievement. Board-eligibility or board-certification in adult endocrinology is desired, but not required.
