Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented physician scientist or scientist to join our team in the Division of Endocrinology, Gerontology and Metabolism at Stanford University. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and education in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct basic, translational, or clinical research in endocrinology, diabetes, or metabolism
  • Develop and lead research programs in areas related to endocrinology, diabetes, or metabolism
  • Collaborate with other investigators and clinicians to advance research and education in endocrinology
  • Provide mentorship to research trainees
  • Participate in departmental and university service
Requirements
  • MD (or equivalent), MD/PhD, or PhD degree
  • Board-eligibility or board-certification in adult endocrinology is desired, but not required
  • Strong research and teaching background
  • Ability to obtain grant funding or prior success competing for competitive research awards
