About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Institutional Sales Director to join our team at Invesco. As a key member of our institutional sales effort, you will be responsible for driving new business, maintaining existing relationships, and serving as the primary liaison for institutional clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business development and relationship management efforts for institutional clients within your coverage territory in collaboration with institutional colleagues.
  • Proactively build our understanding of each asset owner's organizational structure, decision-making authority, and investment priorities.
  • Execute on sales plans for accounts in your territory by continuously evaluating client needs, designing an organized and efficient approach to relationship management, and providing value-added services.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with asset owners in your territory.
  • Coordinate client requests, promptly and accurately.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of institutional sales experience.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Financial services / investment management experience with deep knowledge of institutional ecosystem, sponsors, consultants, and competitors.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies and their relevance across various plan and client types.
  • Exceptional teammate, open-minded, flexible, and willing to listen to other people's opinions.
  • Ability to navigate multiple work streams and manage competing priorities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63.
