Position Overview: Contents Mover
The Contents Mover role is essential in our field services team, focusing on responding to urgent property damage situations. This position requires a commitment to professionalism and expertise in handling property with care and efficiency.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely navigate residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, storms, or mold.
- Assist in the packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking of furniture and materials as per project specifications.
- Handle delicate and valuable items with utmost care to prevent damage during transit.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and effective item movement on project sites.
- Adhere to established safety protocols for lifting and handling materials.
- Maintain an organized inventory of materials and supplies used in restoration projects.
- Keep workspaces clean and orderly, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any issues.
- Provide outstanding customer service during interactions with clients throughout the moving process.
- Document job progress and complete tasks in our primary operating system.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a manual labor position or related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move around job sites, including stairs and various terrains.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Capability to operate a company vehicle safely.
