Welcome to the role of HR and Payroll Specialist at Beck's, a 100% Employee-Owned retail operator of fuel, convenience, car wash, and gaming with locations throughout North-Central Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Administration: Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, maintain and update employee payroll records, and ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes using ADP.
- HR Data Management: Manage and follow up on employee onboarding, including pre-employment background checks and paperwork completion, and support performance management, employee training processes, and development.
- Time and Attendance Management: Monitor time and attendance, address employee payroll-related inquiries, and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, human resources, or a related field
- Familiarity with HRIS software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
