Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Jobot, a leading medical benefits organization. As a key member of our fiscal services department, you will play a critical role in providing timely and accurate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in monthly and year-end financial closing processes, including analysis of accounts, preparation of general journal entries, and investigation of budget variances.
  • Prepare internal financial statements, including monthly reconciliations for main checking accounts and accounts payable.
  • Perform financial analysis and prepare initial baseline budget recommendations during the annual budget process.
  • Update fixed assets ledger for asset acquisitions and disposals, and maintain reconciliations between the fixed assets ledger and general ledger.
  • Prepare audit support documentation for assigned portions of annual financial statements.
  • Develop baseline budget data for areas of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Bachelor's Degree in Administration with a major in Accounting.
  • At least 3 years directly related accounting experience.
