RESTAURANT RECEPTIONIST AT THE BEACH CLUB

Welcome and seat patrons in the dining area with a warm and inviting demeanor to foster a comfortable and enjoyable environment. Aid in upholding a tidy and organized restaurant space.
  • Welcome and seat guests; provide menus to patrons
  • Monitor tables and keep track of clean, occupied, and dirty tables
  • Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of floors as necessary.
  • Gather guest information and provide accurate wait time estimates when tables are not readily available
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of menus at the reception area
  • Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and supplies, requesting cleaning services as needed
  • Respond to phone inquiries and provide information regarding the menu and restaurant services
  • Engage with guests as they arrive and depart to ensure a delightful dining experience
  • Assist with takeout orders as required
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as necessary
Essential Skills:
  • Strong verbal communication abilities with guests and effective phone manners
  • Capability to read, write, and assess wait times based on established procedures.
  • Ability to visually assess the restaurant for table readiness (such as estimating how long a table may take to be ready for another seating)
  • Basic computer and technology skills required.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, and stoop
  • Ability to lift 20-pound high chairs multiple times during a shift over a moderate distance
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
