Purpose of the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nursing Professional to join our team as a Relief Registered Nurse at The May Center School for Autism & Developmental Disabilities in Randolph, MA.

Job Overview

As a Relief Registered Nurse, you will be at the heart of delivering top-notch healthcare services, utilizing your clinical skills and compassionate spirit to collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, tailored to the specific needs of each client and their family.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, administer medications, and provide interventions with precision and care.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients and their families, empowering them to become champions of care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment interventions, contributing to ongoing quality improvement.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance skills and share expertise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in pediatric nursing, preferably working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive within an interdisciplinary team
