Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychology Specialist to join our team at Children's National Hospital. The successful candidate will assist fully-licensed neuropsychologists in providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children with learning, behavioral, and emotional disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing test materials and rooms for testing prior to appointments.
  • Collect and review patient history from families, when necessary.
  • Administer neuropsychological testing batteries under the supervision of licensed staff neuropsychologists.
  • Score tests and record scores on Test Summary forms.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of testing materials.
  • Organize and prepare testing materials for efficient use.
  • Assist in writing clear and concise test reports.
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to families and referring physicians.
  • Perform follow-up communications with families, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Psychometrist.
  • Familiarity with assessment of children.
  • Eligibility for licensure as a Psychological Associate or Psychologist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of neuropsychological testing and assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
