We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at CCS. As a Behavioral Health Care Provider, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to our clients.
Job Summary:The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for conducting applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health/organizational social work. You will apply social work procedures and techniques, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidenced-based therapies, in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions
- Assess barriers to treatment adherence and help patients problem-solve solutions
- Provide patients with education regarding their mental health condition and treatment regimen
- Maintain accurate and current notes in the electronic medical records of all patients contacted
- Participate in military specific training/activities and others as directed by the unit Commander or his/her designee
- Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) or equivalent degree from a graduate school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Ability to obtain and maintain either a Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Experience working in a government setting such as DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF is preferable
- Evidence Trauma Care
- Evidence Based Suicide Risk Management
