Clinical Neuropsychology Assistant

The Psychometrist II will collaborate with fully-licensed neuropsychologists on the medical staff to provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children with learning, behavioral, and emotional disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing test materials and rooms for testing prior to appointments.
- Collect history from the child's family, when appropriate.
- Perform neuropsychological testing batteries under the supervision of licensed staff neuropsychologists.
- Score tests and record scores on the Test Summary form.
- Minimum Education: B.A. in Psychology from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Minimum Work Experience: 2 years of experience as a Psychometrist.
- Required Skills/Knowledge: Familiarity and training with the assessment of children.
- Required Licenses and Certifications: Eligibility for licensure as either a Psychological Associate or as a Psychologist.
- Assessments: Prepare test materials and rooms for testing, collect history from the child's family, perform neuropsychological testing batteries, and score tests.
- Organization: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of testing materials and organize testing materials.
- Report Writing and Communication: Assist in writing clear and coherent test reports and communicate test results and recommendations to the child's family and referring physician.
