Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to children and adolescents with mental health disorders.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team of psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medication as necessary.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Texas.
  • Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
