Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response while adhering to advanced Paramedic protocols.
  • Employ your Paramedic expertise with medical apparatus and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver superior medical care.
  • Engage with patients and their families to provide reassurance and clarity regarding the care being administered.
  • Assume the role of team leader for Paramedic operations, overseeing scene and unit management as necessary.
  • Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
  • Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
Additional Duties:
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to uphold AMR's reputation and foster strong community ties.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Paramedic License.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
  • Driving record that meets company standards.
  • Successful completion of Physical Agility Test.
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
