Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response while adhering to advanced Paramedic protocols.
- Employ your Paramedic expertise with medical apparatus and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver superior medical care.
- Engage with patients and their families to provide reassurance and clarity regarding the care being administered.
- Assume the role of team leader for Paramedic operations, overseeing scene and unit management as necessary.
- Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to uphold AMR's reputation and foster strong community ties.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid State Paramedic License.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
- Driving record that meets company standards.
- Successful completion of Physical Agility Test.
- Relevant work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
